OOTD: Orange You Going to Work Today?

Hellooooooo,
Yesterday I didn't have an idea as to what I was going to wear and somehow I pulled this out of the air! I thought it was super cute, especially since I chose it randomly from my closet. I think it's perfect for the classroom because the jacket is fairly light and it's actually really comfy. Plus, it's modern and  completely fashion forward (esp. for teacher wear). I hope you like it as much as I do.

Dress pants- Kohl's, Nude flats- Target

Orange top- Ross, Necklace- Target

Gold Tweed Jacket- Loft

Winged liner, and Revlon lipstick in Coralberry
On a side note, I have been loving student teaching and I already feel myself growing an attachment to the students in my Kindergarten class. I feel like I have learned way more in the past few weeks than I ever had sitting in a classroom talking about teaching. I'm so grateful for this learning experience. :) I love to learn and being creative. Anyways, I hope you all have a good rest of the week and try not to FREEZE! (We've had a couple delay starts and cancelled school days because of the weather) Be safe!

So, "How's the weather?"

Look Book: Minty Fresh Leopard

Hey everyone!
I've been pretty uninspired when it comes to fashion and clothes lately. I don't know what it is. I love the Fall and Winter seasons because I get to dress up more, but for some reason I'm not feelin' it right now. Maybe because the weather in Texas is cool one day and then blazing hot the rest of the week. I'm ready for the weather to get cooler everyday and not just every once in a while. So, in hopes of inspiring myself, and of course you guys, I decided to post an outfit of the day.
It's been a while since I've done a Look Book post, so here we go! Enjoy :)

Mint top- Target, Liquid Leggings- Wet Seal

Leopard Scarf- Krogers (yes, the grocery store! lol)

Mossimo Heels- Target (you can see them in this post too)

Hopefully you liked this outfit. I thought it was cute! I hope you are all having a wonderful day :)

What trends are you loving for Fall? What do you do when you get in a fashion funk?

Drugstore Haul

Hey guys!
About a week or so ago I went to Walmart, Target, and Ross to pick up a few things. Some items are repurchases and some are new to me.

From Walmart:
RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum- I have never tried any RoC products until now. I saw that Roc posted a Facebook status telling people to give them your skincare questions and they would answer them. So, out of curiosity, I asked them if they could recommend something light for someone who has tiny fine lines and this is what they recommended to me. I purchased this at Walmart for $18. So far I love it! I can definitely see an improvement in my face.

Clearasil- I typically have a clear complexion, but every once in a while, I'll break out. The week before finals was HORRIBLE! I broke out pretty bad due to stress so I picked up a spot treatment to help me out. I've been using this stuff for years and think it does a pretty good job.

From Target:
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Coral Reef- They had a few of these on sale for $2-3 so I picked one up. I love coral colors for the spring and summer time and this one is perfect.

Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara- I have never tried this mascara, but like the lipgloss, it was on sale for $3. I figured if I didn't like it, it wouldn't be a big deal. Turns out, I really do like it. A lot. I love when things like this happen!

Up & Up Shampoo- This is actually a dandruff shampoo. I don't have dandruff, but I tried this once and LOVED the way it made my hair feel! It doesn't feel like it's stripping my hair like some shampoos. Believe it or not, it makes my hair feel like its more nourished and moisturized after using it. Ever since I tried it, I haven't looked back. And for $3-4 for this HUGE bottle, why not? I would say give it a try even if you don't have dandruff but have dry hair like me. I love it.

From Ross:
Vanilla Frosting 3-in-1 Body Wash- First off, who doesn't want to smell like delicious cupcake frosting? Second, you really can't beat the price. This only cost $4 and you get a huge amount! I saw they sold another cupcake body wash like this but in a strawberry scent, but I tend to like vanilla scented things better so this is what I got. It's not anything spectacular but I do like the way it smells in the shower. :)

Have you made any recent purchases from the drugstore? If so, tell me what you got or link your post down below for me to check it out!

ELF Haul + Update

Hey guys!
I know I've been completely MIA lately but school has CONSUMED my life!!! UGH! I will try to post as often as I can but to be completely honest, I actually need to do a lot of catching up with school work before I can get back to posting on a more regular basis.

This past weekend I did a little shopping and noticed a few new things at my Target and K Mart. I typically hate going into K Mart and really have only gone a few times in my life buuuuuut after watching a haul video from K Mart, I decided to check it out. I went thinking I would pick up some clothes, but as I half way expected, it sucked. Instead, I spent my time in the cosmetics. I saw that they sold ELF and carried a few new items that I hadn't seen at other places. The one thing I picked up from K Mart was the Mascara and Shadow Shied, the rest I found at Target (before I went to K Mart).

I am glad to see more items from ELF pop up at my local stores. I think for the price you pay, it's a great deal! Enough talk, let's get on to the haul :)

Mascara and Shadow Shield, Small Stipple Brush, Small Angled Brush, Jumbo Shadow Stick in Forest Nymph, and Baked Eyeshadow in Enchanted

Funny thing about this is the day before I went shopping I actually placed this in my cart on Elf's website. I'm glad I found it at K Mart so I didn't have to pay for shipping :)

I've wanted a teeny stippling brush to blend out my concealer for a while.

I think this will be good for gel liner and brow powder.

This is Elf's take on the NYX's Jumbo pencils.  It swatched great and I already have an idea for a look I want to do with this.

This color looked so much like MAC's Expensive Pink. I don't actually own Expensive Pink but figured I'd give this a go to see how I liked it. They had several other colors as well.

Here are the swatches of the Jumbo Stick and the Baked Eyeshadow. I wet my finger before I applied the shadow to my hand to get a better payoff (since it is a baked eyeshadow).

Here's a close up. From pics I've seen of Expensive Pink online, this seems to come off as more golden with just a hint of corally pink.

I am so glad they are coming out with more and more products at my local stores. I really do like ELF for the money. Let me know if you have tried any of these products and how you like them. Definitely check out your local drugstores for new ELF products if you haven't already!

Follow me on Instagram, yo! I've been posting a lot of pics lately and it's a great way to see what I do on a regular basis.
